MRS. ROCHELLE NYBERG

I grew up in Idaho and Utah.

I received my Masters of Education (emphasis in Reading) from SUU.

I have been married to my husband for over 30 years and have four Children who keep me busy, humble and always laughing.

I have two occupations that I absolutely love doing ….Teaching which I’ve done for twenty years and Cosmetology which I’ve done for over thirty five years! I’m currently the business owner of E’lan Hair Salon. I have always been active. I have run the Boston and NYC marathons several times and recently completed the 140.6 mile World Championship Ironman.

I am so excited to introduce you to the idea of implementing kinesthetic learning with alternative seating for secondary students in education. Imagine offering yoga, stretch core strength and other practices to fully engage students in academics while igniting their extremities. This kinesthetic learning environment will support athletes, reduce behavior problems and disengaged students.

Post covid calls to action the students’ and teachers’ mental and physical health needs to be a priority. Offering a progressive learning environment that supports ALL students and promotes lifelong learners is critical. My goal is to instill a love of learning in a kinesthetic learning environment while building confidence and skills that empower students’ learning to ensure their mental and physical health has a sustainable positive outlook necessary for success.
